Air France Settles $11.5 Million Crash Lawsuit
An $11.5 million settlement was reached last week in a lawsuit against Air France related to a 2005 airplane crash that sent 33 passengers to the hospital. The plane overshot a runway a Pearson International Airport in Toronto during a rainstorm and crashed into a nearby ravine. Canadian Traffic Safety Board state that the plane’s crew improperly calculated the distance and speed needed to safely land in the wet conditions.
