A lawsuit has been filed over the death of a college student in Texas who was run over by a monster truck outside a local strip club in March. The girl was leaving the club when she was hit by another patron in a custom 2003 Ford F-250 truck. The lawsuit claims Eric Crutchfield, the driver of the truck, was intoxicated to more than double the legal limit and that his vehicle was not “street legal.” The lawsuit also accuses the club of serving him alcohol when he was “visibly intoxicated.”

One person is dead after a multi-car accident on southbound I-25 Tuesday night.
Colorado State Patrol reported that the accident happened at mile marker 189, just north of Castle Pines, at 8:23 p.m. Four vehicles were involved, including a semi truck.
According to the State Patrol, the semi was experiencing mechanical problems and the semi driver attempted to pull over to the left shoulder when an SUV behind the semi hit the truck’s trailer. The female driver was ejected from the SUV and died at the scene. Two additional cars became involved in the accident.
The State Patrol has not yet determined whether speed or alcohol were factors in the crash or whether the driver of the SUV was wearing a seatbelt.
