Family Files Lawsuit Over Fatal Construction Accident
The family of a 19-year-old worker killed in a highway construction accident earlier this year has filed a lawsuit against a Tennessee-based trucking company, the Knoxville News-Sentinel reports. Jeffrey Brian Thompson II was killed when a truck owned by T and T Trucking veered off of I-75 on Nov. 9, according to the newspaper. The lawsuit alleges that the driver was speeding and failed to follow construction warning signs.
