Family Files Lawsuit Over Police Shooting
The family of a Florida man shot and killed by police last year has filed a lawsuit claiming he was working as an informant for law enforcement agencies at the time of his death. The lawsuit claims that Arthur Lee Coleman was helping police bust a ring of car thieves around the time he was killed. According to the lawsuit, Coleman was shot and killed while a group of officers were looking for him for allegedly violating probation. The lawsuit also claims that Coleman was unarmed at the time, contrary to police reports.
