Jury Hears Final Arguments in Water-Death Case
The family of a woman who died of acute water intoxication after participating in a radio station promotion should receive between $24.62 million and $34.45 million in damages, an attorney for the family argued on Tuesday. The lawsuit claims that radio station KDND “The End” 107.9 and its parent company Entercom Communications Corp. were negligent for failing to properly supervise the “Hold Your Wee for a Wii” contest. Closing arguments in the case are scheduled to continue today.
