KBR Exposed Soldiers to Chemicals, Lawsuit Says
Thirty members of the West Virginia National Guard filed a lawsuit Monday accusing two subsidiaries of KBR Inc. of exposing them to toxic chemicals in Iraq. According to the lawsuit, KBR failed to inform the guardsman that they were exposed to sodium dichromate, a chemical linked to cancer and other illnesses, while guarding a water plant being repaired by contractors in 2003. The lawsuit names Kellogg Brown & Root Services, Inc., and KBR Technical Services, Inc. as defendants.
