Lawsuit Filed After Needle Stuck In Girl’s Eye
The family of a Chicago girl has filed a lawsuit against the Westside Family Health Center after a needle punctured her left eye during an immunization in 2007. According to the lawsuit, hospital employees failed to properly restrain the girl during the immunization, and that she experienced “pain, suffering, disability and visual impairment” as a result. The lawsuit seeks at least $500,000 in damages.
