Lawsuit Filed Against Apt. in Three Fire Deaths
Three Indiana families have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Bradford Schools and the owners of an apartment complex in which their three daughters died in a January fire. The cause of the fire was determined to be faulty wiring. According to the lawsuit, Dial Equities, the owner of the apartment complex, and the school, who rented the rooms out as student housing, failed to provide functioning smoke alarms in every room, safe wiring and an evacuation plan. The families are seeking unspecified damages.
