Lawsuit Filed Over Car Accident At Golf Tourney
One of the men hit by an SUV in the parking lot at a PGA Tour tournament in Florida this year has filed a lawsuit against the property owner, driver of the SUV, and the PGA. The man was driving two spectators in a golf cart through the parking lot of the Quarry Golf Course in Naples, Fla., when the cart was hit head on by an SUV. The man suffered multiple broken bones and was hospitalized for weeks. The suit accuses the driver of negligent driving and the tour, the tournament sponsor and the venue owners of failing to provide proper safety precautions and lighting in the parking lot area where the accident occurred.
