Suit Filed Against Principal Who Hit Student With Car
The family of a Pennsylvania high school student filed a lawsuit this week after their child was struck by a vehicle driven by his principal earlier this year. The lawsuit claims that witnesses saw Margaret Kantes driving well over the speed limit through a red light in front of the high school where she worked. The student she hit, Ricardo E. Smith, suffered a severe brain injury, a fractured pelvis and various other injuries. The lawsuit seeks at least $150,000 in damages.
