An insurance adjusting firm who contracts with State Farm Insurance Co. is suing two sisters who blew the whistle on State Farm’s denial of claims after Hurricane Katrina. E.A. Renfroe & Co. alleges the women broke the law when they submitted internal State Farm records to an attorney. They accuse the sisters of violating the Alabama Trade Secrets Act and breaching confidentiality agreements with the company.
